Process
Problem: An empty kitchen, nowhere to sit or sleep and a busy work schedule
Solution: Design, purchase and install furnishings for 1B/1B apartment within one week.
The Story: With only a futon and fold-out foam pad in his brand-new place, Alvin was sorely in need of a design fix! We met him on a Friday night when we did a presentation at his apartment complex. Could we meet tomorrow? Sure! Fast-forward to the end of the week, when we were loading up at Ikea–everything for a living room, bedroom, dining area, and kitchen! Yes, even the placemats. One week from our first meeting, Alvin was all set in a beautifully, furnished place with dishes in the cupboard, sheets on the bed, and art on the wall. Welcome home, Alvin!
